    Joining as a Senior Energy Coordinator reporting to the Superintendent of Reliability & Asset Health in the Maintenance & Asset Management team, you will play a vital role in optimizing copper production assets while ensuring safety and efficiency.

    Your key responsibilities include hands-on problem-solving for process reliability, supporting BC Hydro's KPIs, setting reliability standards, and leading energy-saving initiatives.

    You will also oversee electrical engineering projects, change management, and maintenance processes while upholding safety and environmental protocols.

    Responsibilities:
    • Contribute to asset lifecycle planning and maintenance
    • Maintain standards for electrical assets
    • Develop energy-saving initiatives
    • Lead E&I change management phases
    • Conduct RCFA investigations and develop corrective actions
    • Refine predictive and preventative maintenance programs
    • Develop detailed plans for projects and conduct FMEA
    • Lead small capital reliability projects
    • Stay updated on predictive technologies
    • Contribute to continual maintenance
    Qualifications:
    • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
    • Registered as a Professional Engineer with EGBC
    • Minimum three years' industrial experience
    • Project management and mining experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Leadership and mentoring ability
    • CMMS software knowledge
    • Collaboration skills across departments
    • Experience with P6 and MS Project

    Salary Range:
    $118,000 - $145,000

    Base salary depends on candidate's experience, skills, and competencies, and internal equity.
