We are looking for Student support professionals who can start as soon as possible under our Administrative roster at UBC Hiring Solutions, to work in short-term assignments supporting various departments at UBC.

We have short-term administrative Student support roles available and we encourage all qualified and interested applicants to apply. Length of each term varies from approximately a couple of weeks to a couple of months or more. Upon completing the initial Student support assignment, any following assignments may pertain to any Administrative function within UBC.

These roles are hourly paid (average range $22.03-$27.00 / hour) and starting as soon as possible.

The roles will be filled as soon as suitable applicants are found.


Qualifications:


High school graduation supplemented by training in office procedures and practices or a combination of education and related work experience.

University undergraduate degree preferred.
Minimum of three to four years of recent Student support administrative experience in a professional office environment. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and judgment required. Proven ability to be flexible, confident and self-motivated. Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to deal with a diversity of people in a calm, courteous, and effective manner. Ability to analyze problems, identify key information and issues, and effectively resolve. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate with others. A commitment to enhancing one's own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to difference. Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one's own. Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one's own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.


Salary:
$22.03-$27.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Secondary School (required)

Experience:
