Position:
F/T Building Maintenance Worker


Location:
Vancouver

Salary:
Depending on experience


Job summary:
The building maintenance worker will familiarize him/herself with the building layout, initialize a maintenance calendar, resolve tenant concerns, maintain the general order of business in the building and perform general repairs:

  • Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Perform general repairs such as painting, change light bulbs and cleaning common areas
  • Inspect buildings and perform maintenance checks daily
  • Handle emergency calls after hours
  • Coordinate with outside contractors
  • Suite preparation at move out; clean and paint suite as required
  • Ensure all service providers complete their work in a proper and timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Require one year related experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence
  • Solid background in building repair and maintenance
  • Available to handle after hours oncall service
*this position does not require regular janitorial service as it is contracted


Salary:
From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
