Description
Demonstrated understanding for the needs of seniors. Experience in quantity food preparation. Knowledge of therapeutic diets and current nutritional standards relating to a geriatric population.
Working knowledge of Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Sanitation Code, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Occupational Health and Safety, and Public Health Inspections.
Has inter provincial Standards Red Seal Program status or diploma from an established college as listed in the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002 or a registered private career college in Ontario acceptable to the Employer.
Previous food service long-term care experience considered.
Must have Safe Food Handlers
