    Description

    Straight Edge Outdoor Services is a locally owned Lawn Care and Landscaping Company dedicated to delivering quality and timely service to all of our customers. We are currently hiring for the 2025 season, starting as soon as the weather permits (early April). We are looking for candidates who value attention to detail, work well with others, and are somewhat physically fit and active. Must be available to work full-time hours in a fast-paced environment. Must be coachable and maintain a positive attitude, communicate well with clients as well as the team, and demonstrate initiative.

    At Straight Edge, we STRONGLY believe employees should be compensated fairly for their production, quality of work and positive attitude. Our lawn care staff work on a piece rate work based on production while also having a base hourly rate, meaning you have the ability to dictate how much you earn.

    Starting wage is $18.00/hr depending on experience and can go to $25+/hr

    • monthly incentives, and increases based on performance.

    • 40 hour work weeks
    • Seasonal spring, summer and fall position
    • Summer student worker positions available as well

    Work duties performed can include:

    • Operating walk behind and ride on lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hand tools
    • General lawn care maintenance (shrub trimming, aerating, power raking, etc.).
    • Driving truck and trailer
    • General landscaping tasks

    Requirements:

    • Valid Class 5 Drivers license
    • Cell phone with data for maps and other apps.
    • General lawn care and landscaping experience (preferrable 1 year)
    • Ability to work outside for 10-hour days in all weather conditions
    • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
    • Work full time hours
    • Be punctual, eager and reliable
    • Be able to transport to shop in charleswood
