This is what else you can expect from this dynamic role:

  • Assists staff in resolving technical problems on assigned by providing guidance regarding software and hardware problems. Resolves and/or refers more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues with desktops and laptops, printers, mobile devices, VoIP phones, video conferencing systems and other technology peripherals for all employees within the organization.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure that their inquiries are resolved within the contracted or agreed upon time frame.
  • Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation.
  • Offhours and weekend work as required to support the organization.
  • Participate in projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Install new software releases, upgrades, and patches.
  • Set up user accounts, computer equipment and provide IT training to new staff.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's ShoreTel UC VOIP phone system.
  • Create and deploy apps using Microsoft Intune to corporate devices.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud data center operations and Office 365 Administration.
  • Manage user accounts, shared mailboxes, and Office 365 Groups using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Provide support for hybrid and remote work, including connectivity, equipment delivery/return, and remote support.

What we are looking for:


  • University or Community College Degree in Computer Science. Professional certifications in related technologies are an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in performing help desk/operations functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows 2012 Server and above.
  • Handson experience in network management and end user support in a Microsoft Azure/AAD environment.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and managing mobile devices, including handheld computer devices and smartphones.
  • Solid understanding of computer peripherals and accessories.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Desire to own and manage issues from inception to resolution.
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize competing tasks.
