Bookkeeper
A & B Autobody is a family run fast paced auto body shop looking for an experienced bookkeeper to add to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow activities
- Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit cards
- Prepare weekly bank deposits and monthly credit card payments
- Preparation of the monthend & yearend closing process
- Calculate and prepare payroll for 30 plus employees
- Group benefits administration
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and file PST / GST and payroll remittances
- Prepare YE working papers for accountant
- AR collections
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: - 5 years of related experience and or training in full cycle accounting. Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise is mandatory. Strong understanding of GAAP. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Must have strong vebal & written communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a part of a team. Must be self motivated and reliable. Must be able to problem solve and have time management and organizational skills.
