Caneda Transport is seeking a 1-Ton Company Driver to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario

The 1-Ton Company Driver is responsible for operating a 1-Ton Commercial Motor Vehicle transporting LTL. The position will be primarily local deliveries in the GTA area.

The Company Driver must understand that the Company operates in a changing environment, and that he or she must be responsive to change.

As a result, new directives maybe added or deleted from the list of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Operate 1ton company truck to transport freight safely and efficiently
Responsible for the proper loading and securing of freight to prevent movement and allow for safe transportation of materials
Customer Service
Completing necessary paperwork

Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Air brakes (Q) endorsement preferred
Experience strapping and securing loads
Commercial driving experience required
Minimum 3 years' experience preferred
Values and prioritizes safety
Successfully complete Caneda prescreen requirements
