Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Assistant to provide technical assistance and support to our organization.This role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktop computers,laptops,and peripheral devices across Windows ,macOS,and Linux operating systems.Troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office ,operating systems,and other enterprise applications.Assist users with network connectivity issues including LAN setup,Wi-Fi,VPN access,and firewall configurations.Manage service requests using ServiceNow,Jira,BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems.Support computer hardware maintenance upgradesand replacements as needed.Configure network equipment such as routers switches,firewalls to ensure secure reliable connectivity.Maintain documentation of support procedures system configurations for future reference.Collaborate with team members resolve complex technical problems efficiently while providing excellent customer service.Assist in the deployment of new hardware/software solutions updates across the organization.Job description
