Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Supervisor, Supply Chain on a permanent basis on our Corporate Accounting team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Are you looking to showcase your supervisory skills on an engaged team? To jump in and support our Supply Chain team and be a Subject Matter Expert? If so, this is an amazing opportunity for you

What you'll do:

Assign, coordinate, review, and evaluate work performed by inscope employees to ensure assigned goals are met. This includes onboarding/off boarding, training, career development, and performance management.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure proactive and timely resolution of accounting and banking issues, with a focus on customer service.
Assist Supply Chain team with business planning and budgeting, daytoday items such as coding of expenses, and more complex processes, such as accounting interpretations and developing processes for new activities.
Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness by updating policies, training manuals, and job responsibilities as required.

You will provide leadership to your team and work closely with the Supply Chain teams on accounting related issues.

You will report into the Manager, Corporate Accounting on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of support, inclusivity, and collaboration.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

Have 5-8 years of accounting experience including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
Have knowledge and accounting experience in logistics, warehousing or trucking would be an asset.
Have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
