Factoring in the selection and planning of land, inclusion of vast green spaces and design of aesthetically pleasing architectural guidelines, the land development division ensures that all developments reflect high standards without compromise.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Manager of Land Development will be instrumental in supporting strategic delivery and leading tactical marketing within the Land Development division, this includes for many high-profile projects like Chérot (St. Albert), Cambrian (Sherwood Park), and Kinglet Gardens (Edmonton).

The position will supervise a Senior Marketing Coordinator and work in close collaboration with the project management and sales teams through pre and post-sales support.

What will you do in this role?

Leading tactical marketing within the division, this position will be responsible for:


Research and Analysis:

Scoping, implementing, and delivering market analysis to better understand industry trends, competitor positions, and marketability impacts.

Designing, developing, and conducting consumer analysis, to identify consumer trends, profiles and preferences that will influence land development decisions and architectural controls.

Leading tracking, analysis and performance reporting of campaign and web analytics.
Engaging in descriptive and predictive data analysis working with competitor, customer, operational and financial data.


Brand Development and Management:

Coordinating brand planning, positioning, research, visual design, experience, and activation for new neighborhood developments.
Managing storytelling and expression of the brand to extend reach and impact.


Digital Marketing:

Researching, creating, and publishing website content.

Engaging in search engine optimization activities, including competitor analysis, search word assessment, keyword content integration, Google AdWords campaign management, A/B testing, and other activities.

Overseeing and managing social media platforms, content, and performance for Land Development.
Collaborate with agencies to design and effectively execute channel strategy and media buying; dynamically minimizing cost and maximizing outcome.
Monitoring and responding to customer online reviews.


Traditional, Out of Home and Sponsorship Marketing:

Providing tactical support to the sales team in terms of marketing collateral, brand/product messaging, event coordination/attendance, client engagement, and other activities.
