Job Summary
This position is responsible for the Student Housing and Community Services (SHCS) tool crib and Storekeeping function including tracking sourcing receiving storing repairing and distribution of tools equipment and other supplies This position supports inventory control of tool crib and stores for Student Housing and Community Services provide expertise arrange tools equipment supplies budgets timely upkeep data invoicing processes operational systems relevant SHCS units colleaguesResponsibilities
* Receives tools equipment other deliveries using forklift pallet-jacks hand checks items purchase orders request forms * Assists planning arranging storage space operates equipment stack move load unload items designated areas * Follows-up takes action correct shortages damaged defective goods assembles new equipment furniture required dispatches non-stores items appropriate units * Inspects tools equipment other supplies damage operating condition stores location completes preventative maintenance repairs arrangement repair replacement damaged items including but not limited tools equipment furniture other supplies Provides expertise advice users usage maintenance selection tools equipement furniture other suplies Arranges renting tools equipement furniture other suplies not available department designated areas Provides training borrowers proper handling operation all equipement supplied under control storesJob description
