Description
We are seeking a Millwork Drafter to join our growing team. We specialize in Custom High End Residential & Architectural Millwork.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Organized and selfmotivated, decisive and responsible
  • Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and specifications
  • Able to manage time and multitask to accomplish a multitude of tasks, prioritize tasks, work closely with Senior Designer / Project Manager, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Participate in Design meetings, prepare and discuss notes with Senior Designer / Project Manager
  • Interprets and carries out creative ideas proposed by Senior Designer / Project Manager and/or Clients and provide own ideas during design stages.
  • Work with Senior Designer to resolve design problems, discuss project criteria, and facilitate smooth project coordination
  • Convert Architectural Millwork Elevations into Shop Drawings & Layouts
  • Ability to generate full sets of millwork drawings an asset
  • Positive attitude, dependable and team player
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Experience:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture is preferred
  • Experience in Kitchen Cabinetry is mandatory
  • Handson experience with computeraided design (CAD) software (Mozaik an asset) 2 years or more

Salary:


  • Based on Experience

Salary:

$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
