PRIMARY FUNCTION
Assembler / Service Technician is to perform all necessary assembly and field work.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Able to read drawings
- Attention to detail
- Keep floor and work area tidy and free of steel and tools, sweeping when necessary
PRIMARY TASK
- Read and interpret detail drawings
- Use shop paperwork to complete pump assembly
- Install purchase parts and subassemblies
- Install pumps and components
- Update paperwork to reflect any changes
- Travel to customer site to do repairs / service on our equipment (may include out of town / overnight stays paid by company)
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair
- Operate tools and equipment in safe manner
- Follow safe operating and lifting procedures of overhead cranes
- Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures
- Testrun completed equipment prior to shipment / onsite
- Perform startups and commissioning of pumps
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have mechanical aptitude and be familiar with assembling, preferably pumps
- Millwright certification considered an asset
- Valid G licence
- Forklift licence, or willing to obtain
- Competitive salary based on experience
