PRIMARY FUNCTION
Assembler / Service Technician is to perform all necessary assembly and field work.


PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Able to read drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Keep floor and work area tidy and free of steel and tools, sweeping when necessary

PRIMARY TASK

  • Read and interpret detail drawings
  • Use shop paperwork to complete pump assembly
  • Install purchase parts and subassemblies
  • Install pumps and components
  • Update paperwork to reflect any changes
  • Travel to customer site to do repairs / service on our equipment (may include out of town / overnight stays paid by company)
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair
  • Operate tools and equipment in safe manner
  • Follow safe operating and lifting procedures of overhead cranes
  • Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures
  • Testrun completed equipment prior to shipment / onsite
  • Perform startups and commissioning of pumps

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have mechanical aptitude and be familiar with assembling, preferably pumps
  • Millwright certification considered an asset
  • Valid G licence
  • Forklift licence, or willing to obtain
  • Competitive salary based on experience

From $50,000.00 per year
