**Supervisor, Child Care Programs

potential. We are operators of EarlyON Centres, Early Learning and Child Care Centres, licensed Before
and After School Programs, Authorized Recreation programs, day camps, and programs ranging from
aquatics, active living, and wellness to arts, education, and youth leadership.

We have a tremendous opportunity for an inspiring champion of strength-based child and youth
development to join our organization's supervisory team, working alongside an amazing team of
passionate educators, facilitators, and other complementary professionals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Report to the Program Director
  • Create safe and welcoming environments open to all families, with qualified professionals and

- quality programs
  • Assist families and caregivers to make personal connections and access a network of resources
  • Provide families and caregivers support and advice
  • Recruit outstanding talent and managing staff to maximize their strengths
  • Support educators to implement and supervise childcare activities to meet the physical, emotional,
- intellectual and social needs of children in the program
  • Act in accordance with all relevant legislation of the Child Care Early Years Act, and EarlyON
Operational Guidleines established by the Ministry of Education and City of Hamilton.

  • A commitment to the Clubs mission, Vision and Core Values
  • Working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, regulations, and the various
- frameworks supporting positive child and youth development
  • A Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and be registered
  • Two (2) years' work/supervisory experience as Childcare Worker (preferred)
  • A clear police Vulnerable Sector check
  • Proof of full COVID19 immunization
  • Current First Aid/CPR** selected for an interview will be contacted

Salary:

$54,249
