Qualicum First Nation is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Supervisor for our 3-5-year Head Start Program.

The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for Program planning and implementation as well as providing a safe environment for children and families.

Responsibilities Include:

Ensuring the delivery of a safe, developmentally appropriate, quality childcare program in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Providing ageappropriate activities that are nurturing and culturally sensitive.
Maintain confidentiality of all information related to center's families, staff, and program.
Ensures that the facilities, equipment, and materials are clean, safe and well maintained.
Collaborate with Elders, community members and staff.
Ensure that the program is supportive for children and families.
General admin duties.

Wage:
Start: $28 plus wage enhancement

After Probation:
$30 plus wage enhancement and benefits

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$28.00-$34.00 per hour

Benefits:
