  • Position Summary:
  • Under the guidance of the MWC staff, develops communications plans to announce MWC offerings such as projects, initiatives, and events.
  • Creates content for and manages social media, which includes but is not limited to: creating content, responding to messages, and engaging in the McGill social media community.
  • Maintain websites, including developing information architecture and writing and formatting content in keeping with established tone and visual guidelines.
  • Create, write and/or edit a variety of communications materials, such as ebulletins, brochures, posters, PowerPoint presentations, and official announcements

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and French (mandatory).
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, problemsolve and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Graphic design skills and knowledge of tools for graphic design such as Canva.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical information and complex concepts and data into accessible, audiencespecific materials.
  • Attention to detail required to prepare documents that are consistently of the highest quality in terms of content, format, and design.
