The Opportunity
OpenText is looking for a Principal Business Process Anlyst to join the Global Technical Support operations team.

You will lead the teams efforts to provide Headcount and workforce planning support; including weekly and monthly headcount reporting, workforce forecasting, supporting leaders with financial modeling, approvals of position workflows, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and supporting integration teams during acquisitions.

This position will also support many ongoing and new initiatives on an ad hoc basis, and will allow you to work closely with a broad group of partners across the organization.


You will be good at:


  • Supporting the business with Headcount budgets and targets
  • Helping to drive initiatives toward realtime and selfservice headcount management
  • Maintaining headcount statistics against support projects
  • Regular audit of HR reporting system to maintain integrity of data
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure agreement on Targets and reporting
  • Working closely with business units, functional leaders, and senior management to provide analysis of headcount projects and initiatives
  • Building positive relationships with internal customers; develop rapport with stakeholder areas across the organization.
  • Identifying and correcting data feed/links and data quality issues.
  • Setting up standard report templates & cadence, working with stakeholders to establish needs based on specific initiatives/acquisitions, etc.
  • Developing clear presentations summarizing analysis and recommendations for decision makers.
  • Assisting in development of workforce strategy materials.
  • Assisting in analysis of adhoc requests.

What it takes:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or another related quantitative discipline
  • You will have 10+ years experience in an analytic role or business process role
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver consistent results for the business and bring initiatives to successful completion
  • High degree of business acumen; strong fiscal aptitude.
  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize issues for appropriate escalation.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and documentation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders to drive strategic business decisions while balancing the need for tactical execution of HR processes
  • Conveying a high level of personal integrity and a passion for excellence you must be able to operate under mínimal supervision with autonomy and judgment for independent actions
  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
  • Strong analytical skills: solid decisionmaking capabilities coupled with the ability to analyse situations and provide practical recommendations
  • Ability to work in a high growth, fastpaced environment requiring agility to meet challenges and changes in business needs
