As a
Brand Manager (12 Month Contract), you will be responsible for the stewardship of Kellogg Company's snack brands in Canada.

You'll create brand growth strategies and a long-term business plan and translate them into actionable annual brand plans. Your fresh perspective will help you identify consumer white spaces and implement programs to maximize those opportunities. You'll lead strategy creation, brand planning and marketing communications as well as support innovation, commercial strategy and research. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Focusing on Business Strategies - Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies and implement brand plans for category-leading brands. You'll translate business strategies into compelling briefs grounded in consumer insights. Using your partnership skills, you'll work with agency teams to develop, execute and track marketing communications plans that deliver the brands' goals, objectives and strategies.

Driving Successful Execution - Support the achievement of volume and profitability targets. You'll monitor brand and competitive trade, consumer and promotion activity and create actions to address implications. Your sharp insights will shape the future

Managing Winning Projects - Lead projects that improve the business over the short term and long term. You'll direct successful reformulations, packaging changes, format adjustments and innovations through managing cross-functional teams. Your people skills will help you cultivate strong working relationships with both internal (sales, research and development, operations) and external (agency, research house, packaging designs and suppliers) support groups.

Fostering Communications and Strategies - Ensure effective consumer communication. You'll increase the cohesiveness of the marketing group and company as you take personal accountability for enhancing its effectiveness.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • University undergraduate degree with a focus on business and marketing or equivalent work experience
  • 34 years of brand marketing or related experience in a consumerpackaged goods company at brand manager or equivalent level
  • Experience in strategy development and managing creative agencies
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, combined with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • We need your strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
