Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and rolemodel the skills and behaviors to support the performance of the team and promote a culture of high performance working. Prioritize and manage own workload and support workload of team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
  • Proactively drive the delivery of a portfolio of projects across Technology and Business adhering to processes.
  • Lead and manage technical teams in order to deliver projects meeting agreed timescales, budgetary and quality requirements.
  • Oversee and report on project status, manage project team resources and assignments, ensure project milestones are met and up to standard.
  • Communicate business vision / goal and portfolio priorities to team members (e.g. Application Owners / Development Managers, Business Systems Analysis, Platform / Service and/or Project Managers etc.)
  • Identify and communicate any crossarea or crossrelease issues that may affect other areas and lead resolution of escalated issues
  • Ensure all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
  • Assess change requests and issues across the portfolio and identify key items for reporting
  • Works with Testing partners to manage defects, prioritize with stakeholders, and resolve with the delivery team.
  • Engages other Technology partners (Release Management, Risk Management, TS Operations, etc) to manage technical requirements and standards.
  • Employ and advocate the use of architecture frameworks, standards and patterns to facilitate consistent and secure solutions design and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with technology architecture and design/operate processes to provide ongoing review of inprogress activity against technology architecture and development standards
  • Ensure operational, reputational, and intellectual risks are understood, and provide advice towards minimizing risk and escalate where appropriate
  • Create an environment to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and members of delivery teams.
  • Create and maintain project plans, taking account of internal and external dependencies, and interlocking with third parties and teams outside of Technology where appropriate.
  • Effectively lead and manage third party suppliers to develop engagement, statement of works and delivery against those statements to quality, time and budget.
  • Provide formal reporting in line with identified processes and timescales; producing ad hoc reports on request.
  • Be responsible for managing deliveries within allocated budgets, providing actual and forecast costs on a monthly basis, highlighting early any areas of concern, including but not limited to, ensuring delivery against original estimates provided by delivery teams.

  • Ensure certainty of approach, responsibility and ownership where process is uncertain or scope is not fully defined
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Expertise in managing delivery of projects following the PMLC/SDLC standards Waterfall and Agile Years
  • Experience within Human Resources domain and technologies
  • Experience in managing multiple projects in the portfolio, managing the interrelationships and decision making
  • Excellent stakeholder management (Across Business and Tech partners), presentation skills and communication skills, both verbal an
