Formwork Carpenter/ Construction Labourer

We are currently looking for career-minded Formwork Carpenters/Skilled Labourers to join our growing team. Whether you're eager to learn a new trade or expand on your existing knowledge of concrete construction, we want to hear from you


Job Responsibilities:

• Read & interpret drawings
• Prepare and cleanup work sites
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely while delivering quality workmanship
• Build and set footings
• Erect and dismantle concrete forming systems/specialtyforming systems (PERI, etc.)
• Construct and erect columns
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding
• Assist other tradespersons

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in formwork carpentry
• Trade school diploma or certification is preferred
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches, or building plans
• Having your own tools/Equipment, Steeltoed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles etc. is preferred
• Valid safety certificates are required
• WHMIS, Working at Heights
• Valid G driver's license & own vehicle is preferred as transit is not always available
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Team/Crew leadership experience is preferred
• Positive attitude is a must
• A team player and has good communication skills

Up to $42.17 per hour
