Job Summary
An
AR coordinator is a crucial part of the Fastening House business model. Our ability to maintain quality relationships with our customer accounting teams insures open communication and prompt payment.


Position Title AR Coordinator


Team Accounting


Report to Controller

Job Type Full-Time


Location Vaughan, ON


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Resolving payment discrepancies (short payments, skipped invoices, debits and credits)
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Collect data for audit purposes.
  • Daily invoicing and invoicing customer credits (stock returns and pricing corrections)
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Create monthly accounts receivable projection reports.
  • Update daily AR balances.
  • Resolve credit hold matters.
  • Resolve aging balances.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer staff
  • Ensure all customer contact information is up to date.
  • File accounts for collections/ legal proceedings

Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors in business/ accounting is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a must.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (or the like)
  • Strong verbal and writing skills (fluency in English is a must)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills
  • Ability to rapidly learn new programs is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of the construction/ warehousing field is an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Hunger and drive bring forth efficiencies.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, and on your own.
  • Attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent time management, and organizational skills

$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
