Corporate Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the process of M&A activities including identifying and selecting potential investment targets and establishing relationships in the mining sector;
Continuously learn from exposure to deal sourcing, structuring, diligence, negotiations, valuation, documentation and communications (internal/external), that are integral aspects of all deal execution;
Conduct research and analysis of the industry for purpose of identifying investment opportunities;
Prepare analysis and supporting documents for internal decisionmaking purposes;
Provide support to other tasks for the team as required.

Qualifications and skills:

35 years of experience in corporate development or similar experience;
Professional financial qualifications (CFA or equivalent), or a geology/miningrelated professional designation (P. Eng);
Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of financial modelling;
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor;
Excellent written communication and presentation skills;
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative teamoriented environment.
Prior experience in the mining industry or investment banking will be a plus.
