The normal work schedule is on a
-
1 / rotation, or 1 week worked (77 hours of work per week, 7 days per week) followed by 1 paid week of rest. Then two weeks of work in the office (10 days) of 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday.

Future challenges


Reporting to the Mining Projects Superintendent, the site and construction project planner is responsible for planning and monitoring mine construction projects.

He ensures visibility and accountability of projects.


Among his responsibilities:

  • Support the Project team by planning the implementation of projects while ensuring compliance with project deadlines.
  • Create and maintain Project Schedules in P6 Primavera
  • Integrate the planning of other departments to produce an overall planning of all activities at the mine site.
  • Analyze planning and detect conflicts and propose solutions to optimize the realization of the various concomitant projects.
  • Edit and write various activity reports.
  • Work in close collaboration with the different departments of the company.
  • Followup of the logistics of the supply of materials for the projects.
  • Perform all other related tasks deemed necessary by the Site and Construction Project Superintendent, to ensure the efficient conduct of the company's activities.

What we are looking for

  • Hold a Baccalaureate or a technique in project management, engineering, or any other equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, planning, or coordination.
  • Knowledge of Primavera project management software.
  • Master Excel and be able to develop pivot tables.
  • Hold a valid class 5 driving license.
  • Bilingualism (French and functional English).

Nice to have

  • Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
  • Experience in mining;
  • Have the FMTM mining modules.
