Controller - Dartmouth, Canada - East Coast Mobile Medical Inc.

Description

• Responsible for the day to day operations of all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and maintain monthly / yearly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process incoming payments by cheque, credit card, and EFT.
• Send invoices to clients monthly.
• Prepare and make bank deposits.
• Credit card reconciliation.
• HST/GST remittance & corporate tax installments
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions.
• Process employee expenses.
• Administration of employee Group Health & Dental program.
• Administration of company Deferred Profit Sharing program.
• Inventory control.
• Manage relationships with tax advisors and other financial service providers.

• Post secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks online.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all employees across all departments.
• Self motivated and ability to work independently with little direction.
• Strong computer skills including QuickBooks and MS Office Suite.
