Job summary
The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting engineering and customer service activities by preparing accurate drawings, surveys, and service layouts for single-phase power connections and joint use projects.We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Technician. The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in engineering technology or a related field,
certification as a certified engineering technician with Ontario's Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT),
a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in overhead and underground hydro design and construction practices with an electrical utility,
mapping,surveying,and staking experience in an electrical utility environment combined with GISand database programming experience,
a working knowledge of electrical policiesand servicing procedures.
- Certification as a Certified Engineering Technician with Ontario's Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT)
- A valid class "G" driver's licence in good standing
