We are looking for an experienced Customer Service/Account Manager to support our growing operations which is headquartered on Annacis Island.
This is an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor in one of the Lower Mainland's best warehousing and logistics companies.
Summary of Job Functions:
Responsible for managing and fulfilling the general administrative operations of the Head Office and coordinating Logistics activities from our various warehouses located throughout the Lower Mainland.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintainenance and oversight of our warehouse management system (3PL/Extensiv).
- Provide a highlevel of customer service by acting as the interface between our customers and warehouse operations.
- Assist management team with developing and complying with administrative and logistics procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the warehouse team and assist in preparing documents required for the accounting department.
Skills and Experience:
- Highlevel of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook & Excel.
- Some postsecondary education, preferably in business administration, economics or commerce.
- Proficient in use of software technologies for good logistics and office management, such as inventory tracking systems and shipping management, knowledge of
3PL/Extensiv would be a strong asset. - Strong written and oral communication skills required for daily communications with customers and the management team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with natural ability to collaborate with diverse personalities; demonstrates professionalism and maturity and is adaptable to a changing work environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to develop or optimize the internal office and logistics processes.
- Understands the importance of consulting and obtaining key management input when making decisions, and then take responsibility to execute project tasks successfully, in a timely manner and with high rate of success.
- Comfortable in performing long term multidimensional projects in conjunction with normal daytoday activities.
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment would be an asset.
Compensation $41,600 - $45,760 (with good growth potential).
