Description

• Maintain goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers in a courteous manner
• Take orders from customers and sell parts to meet their needs
• Manage shipment of customer's orders by researching shipping methods and the related freight cost
• Coordinate the customer's order with the auto parts dismantler
• When working in the parts counter, he/she follows prescribed cash, credit, transfers and cheque procedures of the company.
• Process cores, warranties, and returned merchandise
• Assist in handling customer complaints/concerns and make sure the problem is resolved
• Maintain the inventory system is updated for the parts on hand
• Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Assist Parts Manager in merchandising displays
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Parts Manager.

• Must have previous auto parts sales work experience
• Must have knowledge of automotive parts
• Basic computer skills including experience with MS Office products
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus
• Effective interpersonal / customer service skills
• Effective communication skills verbal and written
• Must be able to manually handle/carry items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean Driver's Abstract
• Able to work in a teamoriented work environment
