This Cheese Processing Operator Position Features:
Immediate need for cheese processing operator seeking

Responsibilities

Pre-operational set up of the machinery for daily use.

Getting all the materials and setting up the working table, racks, trays, Packaging cartons/cases, and any other relevant items.

Ensure labels, lot no. and dates are applied correctly on the cases/master cartons, boxes, etc.
Conduct basic pre-operational checks and shutdown after production.
Check and adjust machinery controls to operate it safely.
Train and oversee the other workers working on machinery.
Maintain and understand the operating procedures.
Report any issue on the line to Lead hand/Supervisor and ensure prompt corrective action.

• Ensure the environment is safe to operate and all associates are working safely.

Report any Health and safety issues to Production Supervisor.
Monitor and record downtime events on the line relating to machine.
Assist in switch overs of the production line as per the SKU.
Communicate with Lead hand/Production Supervisor to resolve any GMP, housekeeping or personnel issue.
Record the shift log and fill the batch sheets.

Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner to ensure accurate record keeping for QC, ERP and daily production reports.

Complete required quality checks and monitoring the process.
Communicate with supervisor/lead hand when any situation occurs that affects the smooth transition of product through packaging line.
Comply with GMP standards and maintain food safety at all given times.
Check products for defects and to ensure compliance to company standards.
Regularly clean and check all machines and their parts.
Communicate directly with all deliverables effectively with processing crew.
Complete and record metal detection check.

Ensure all stacking of cases/master cartons on the skids are done as per standard and palletize the finished products as skids configuration.

Any other duties as assigned by management, Production Supervisor.

Requirements
2 to 3 years food manufacturing experience
machine operation
Clean Background

Hours:
Afternoon (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) and Night (10:00 pm to 7:00 am) flexible to work both
