Overview:
The primary purpose of the Busser is to support and help the restaurant servers to maintain the highest possible guest satisfaction.
- Setup tables for service, polish glasses and flatware.
- Serve water, bread and butter to guests as they arrive and condiments with meals.
- Clear dirty dishes, glasses, dirty linen and reset tables.
- Assist servers as requested during service to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties deemed necessary or requested by the servers, host and supervisor/manager on duty.
- To look out for the safety of yourself, coworkers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- AGLC
- Proserve/Protect preferred
- Good health and personal hygiene.
- Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service.
- Has a cheerful, positive attitude.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Good at dealing with stressful situations.
- May be required to lift up to 30lbs.
The Schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
