The CORPORATE AUTO FUND TRAINER is responsible for creating content and delivering training sessions to support the knowledge development, onboarding, project-specific training (new initiatives, service improvements, technology enhancements), and ongoing learning needs for internal business areas within the Auto Fund (excluding Claims) and external partners/stakeholders.

This position will facilitate and/or coordinate informational training sessions, technical learning and skill reinforcement activities, and divisional onboarding. The position supports training program development by contributing to analysis, design, and development activities.

The position is also accountable for supporting the review, modification, and continuous improvement of existing training sessions and onboarding programs within the Auto Fund.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Training Program Delivery and Operational Liaison- Facilitates training sessions and program reinforcement activities to support the knowledge and development needs of business areas across the Auto Fund and external stakeholders.- Monitors the progress of learner adoption to department standards and/or training outcomes, identifies where additional targeted performance support and coaching is needed, and provides progress updates to Management.- Facilitates the Auto Fund onboarding program session for all employees new to the division (e.g., AF 101). Supports delivery of role-specific onboarding programs by providing guidance to Team Trainers on how to effectively deliver instructional training and monitor/modify/adjust as learners progress through the program, including effective coaching techniques to support the performance development journey.


Training Program Support (Design, Development, and Review) Supports the Manager, Corporate Auto Fund Training to conduct training needs assessment in collaboration with internal partners.- Identifies learning outcomes for singular or seasonal training session requirements of a business area and works with internal or external partners on the design and development of content and supporting materials aligned to the learning outcomes.- Collaborates with the Auto Fund Training Administrator to organize training session events and registration requirements.- Collaborates with Human Resources (Talent Development, Enterprise Change Management) to create and deliver training programs for external stakeholders.- Assesses the accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness of onboarding programming and training sessions and shares feedback with Manager, Corporate Auto Fund Training.- Collaborates with business area SMEs to review, modify, and/or update existing training materials in response to a change in current process, practice, legislation, and/or procedure.- Participates in projects on an as-needed-basis and provides recommendations on the training content and delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Advanced knowledge of customer service best practices.- Advanced skill in facilitating training programs and sessions.- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel).- Proficient skill in preparing and presenting learning materials.- Proficient skill in de-escalating situations where empathy is required.- Proficient skill in coaching employees through learning and development programming.- Fundamental knowledge of adult learning principles to identify learning content and recommend areas of improvement.- Fundamental knowledge of applicable programs and services provided by the Auto Fund and how they relate to each other.- Fundamental knowledge of the activities, legislation, and regulations within the Auto Fund.- Fundamental knowledge of quality assurance standards and learning content management practices.
