Position Summary:
Cambridge Materials Testing Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Acuren, Inc.

is currently recruiting a Machine Operator to support our Materials Testing Laboratory that provides a wide range of materials testing including chemical, mechanical, and physical testing, metallurgical investigations, and weld qualifications.

This position will be based out of our Cambridge Facility.

This a dynamic opportunity for an individual with a machining background and aptitude for problem solving and working with their hands that is interested in working in a world class laboratory.

Responsibilities:

Follow ISO and company quality standards.
Operation of CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal & vertical saws, grinders, sanders, manual mills, and engine lathes.
Maintain machine shop equipment and safety/maintenance checklists as directed by Machine Shop Supervisor or Laboratory Manager

Requirements:

Machine Shop Experience is an asset
Experience with FANUC controllers would be an asset
Good mechanical aptitude
High school diploma required
Well organized, detailoriented
Must be able to work accurately in a fastpaced setting
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Strong verbal communication and with ability to follow written directions
Team player with willingness to learn and develop on the job
