Who are we searching for?

We are looking for a Dispatch Billing Clerk to join our busy and growing team_
-
Job Duties (include, but not limited to):_

  • Responsible for completing all the freight invoicing for Western Canada (currently includes Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan)
  • Work with the Accounts Receivable team in Ontario to ensure that the freight invoicing is completed both accurately and on time
  • Assist with the dispatch team in duties such as data entry and back up support as needed
  • Assist customer service with data entry, customer inquiries and other requests as needed
  • Perform clerical duties, such as filing and maintaining up to date customer and carrier files
  • Other related duties as required or assigned

Required Knowledge_**:


  • Strong understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Excel, and familiarity with Adobe
  • Excellent data entry skills with an aptitude for attention to detail
  • Experience in accounts receivable is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Quick learner, highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast past environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Administrative assistant work experience of 12 years required; preference will be given to those with experience in a logistics based environment
  • High School Diploma required; preference will be given to those individuals who have a postsecondary degree/diploma in administrative studies/functions

Working Conditions:_

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
  • Extended periods of sitting and data entry
