Pival International Inc. is a global logistics and supply chain management company with a comprehensive menu of warehousing logistics solutions and transportation solutions, including time sensitivity (land and air), FTL, LTL, intermodal.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and bringing on new customers, leading the customer onboarding, before transferring them to our Customer Success Team, while directly impacting PiVAL's overall mission, success, and growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly Strategic Sales Objectives (SSOs), account base growth & new business targets
- Target C-Level prospecting for new customer development in target markets (3PLs, Automotive, Forest Products, Consumer Goods, etc,)
- Manage assigned inbound leads from website and database marketing campaigns
- Grow existing account base by offering new supply chain solutions to increase revenue streams from current customers via warehousing, transportation and intermodal solutions
- Collaborate closely with finance, Operations, and Customer Success to assess opportunity, develop supply chain solution, onboard and manage customer
- Leverage sales dashboards to understand customer behaviour and proactively act on variations in revenues throughout the year
- Ensure all customer communications activities and tasks are documented in PiVAL's CRM HubSpot for full visibility on Sales Lifecycle
- Update & maintain sales pipeline
- Identify & facilitate process improvement projects to drive efficiency
- Other tasks as assigned
- A university degree in Commerce, Management, Marketing or in a related field
- 13 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our key customers to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Accountability and full ownership of your work
- A strong sense of emotional intelligence
- Fluency in English & French (written and oral)
- You are able to multitask, prioritise work and demonstrate attention to detail
- Driven, professional, innovative and a team player are qualities required to excel in this position
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time nationally and internationally.
