S Seasonal Workers

Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking eight (8) part-time and three (3) full-time Seasonal Workers to work for the
Successful Families Successful Kids (SFSK) Program in the Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, and Cold Lake area.

These positions will commence as early as June 20, 2023 and until August 25, 2023. These assignments require flexibility in hours including week days, and some evening and weekend programming.

The successful applicant must:

Possess the ability to work with others and/or on their own with mínimal supervisor
Posses a valid class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be conscientious, responsible, hardworking, innovative, creative and enthusiastic

Duties Include:

Development and preparation of resources and mental health promotion materials to be used through technology and in person training/education opportunities
Creation of samples and a digital bank of school based universal mental health resources
Community engagement and collaboration with partners for local camps supporting Mental Health and Wellness for children, youth, and families.
Provide summer programming activities and resources to support children, youth and families in our communities
Support the SFSK Wellness Coaches and summer programming and other duties as assigned.
