Looking for a competent and enthusiastic carpenter to assist Ethos's current Carpenter & site upervisor in the construction of multi-family construction and renovation work done by Ethos Infill & Developments Inc.

This position calls for someone who has a proficient understanding of all residential renovation aspects. Must be organized, detail-oriented and have a willingness to learn. Most importantly, you must be customer service-oriented and a great team member.


Duties:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to plans
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or preconstructed items
  • Install structures and fixtures such as windows and molding
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
  • Perform repairs on existing wooden structures
  • Restore old buildings by preserving or replacing damaged woodwork

Skills:


  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
  • Ability to assemble, build, and restore wooden structures
  • Knowledge of siding installation techniques
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery for woodwork fabrication is a plus
  • Experience in masonry work for construction projects is advantageous
  • Strong carpentry skills including construction estimating

Pay:
$27.00-$40.00 per hour

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
