Description:

_This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA)._

Responsibilities

As we build our team, the Department of Pediatrics recognizes that our people are and will continue to be our greatest strength.

This position will comprise approximately 60% clinical service and 40% academic or administrative pursuits: for example, research, teaching, and administrative duties such as Divisional Director for the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Contributions to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are expected from all faculty members.

Qualifications

MD and have completed a specialty residency in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Proven record of highquality research achievements as evidenced by peerreviewed funding and high impact publications
Eligible to obtain a specialist license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and hold appropriate liability coverage.

Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be based on the income scale of a competitive and highly successful academic alternate funding plan.
