We currently have an open position for a Field Service Technician.

Job Description & Duties:

We are currently searching for a full-time Field Service Technician to support our water treatment business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Diagnose and repair water treatment equipment

Start up and commission new or replacement water treatment systems

Servicing of existing water treatment equipment (i.e. water softeners, reverse osmosis, iron filters, UV Systems, etc.)

Installing new or exchanging pre-existing water treatment equipment

Installing new or replacing plumbing to/from the Water Treatment System

Rebuilding control valve heads and re-bedding media tanks, etc.

Completing all paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner

Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Collect, log and analyze field data

Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.

Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings

Essential Functions:

Seeking a highly motivated, independent and mechanically-inclined individual.

Must be able to provide detailed and accurate documentation of any and all service work performed, both on written or electronic tablet work orders

Consistent and dependable job attendance

Clean Driving Record (must be able to provide clean Drivers Abstract)

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required

Occasional evening or Saturday service calls as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma

At least 2 years of experience in the water treatment industry or related technical field (Plumbing License is a strong asset)

Basic tools

Steel-toed work boots

Compensation:

Starting at $25 / hour (Dependent on skills)

Wage PLUS Commission's.

Uniforms, Installation Tools, Service Trucks and Safety Equipment all provided by Canadian Water Conditioning Inc.
