Position Summary

The PTA/OTA works under the direct supervision of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to assist with treatment/services to maintain the physiotherapy/occupational therapy department and equipment.

Qualifications

Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Previous experience as a PTA/OTA an asset, experience in a longterm care facility preferred.
Ability to communicate well with residents, their families and staff.
Ability to lift and transfer residents.
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work in an organized manner.
Cooperative with good interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
