Description

Shop Coordinator. This position requires an individual with sound leadership and the ability to motivate all employees in a selected area.

Required:

Strong mechanical aptitude in a mechanical atmosphere such as automotive or heavy truck.
Must be analytical, organized and capable of making sound decisions.
Responsible for coordinating the activities of employees and promoting a safe workplace.
Understand the scope of work and organize the workflow in the shop to effectively meet customer's deadlines.
Responsible for ensuring jobs are done safety, correctly and completed on time Assist with setups.
Verify process times against planned times. Verify and sign off on all job sheets. Ensure a high level of quality control.
Enforces in process checks and performs random inspections.
Train and mentor employees to increase their skill level in all activities.
On an ongoing basis, monitor employees performance, identify and resolve issues and concerns. Maintain communications between departments.
Preference will be given to those who come from the fuel/petroleum industry.
Perform other duties as needed and requested by manager.

Work schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
