Position Summary:


The Accounts Payable Vendor Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for timely processing invoices into ERP as required, reconcile Accounts Payable vendor statement for outside vendors and subcontractors and custom report writing.


Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely matching of invoices with corresponding purchase orders (PO).
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable Vendor Statements
  • Process invoices into ERP as required
  • Custom report writing
  • Vendor relationship
  • Help other AP team members to ensure the agreed AP service standards are met.
  • Work with all departments/divisions to resolve any problem invoices.
  • Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality System operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:


  • College Diploma in Accounting\Finance
  • 3 years of Accounts Payable Admin experience mandatory
  • 35 Year of Canadian Accounts Payable Vendor Reconciliation experience necessary
  • High Level of Excel experience with reconciliations; analysis experience is an asset
  • Large ERP experience (JDE, SAP, GP360, etc)
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
