Description

We're recruiting PART TIME/ON-CALL/CASUAL INDEPENDENTLY Registered Practical Nurses (RPN's) to work in a Long Term Care Home in MARKHAM ON

A

Responsibilities:

*Provide a safe environment for Residents and Staff
*Provide and ensure all duties and tasks are completed
*Provide direct patient care
*Follow the policies and procedures implemented by facility
*Procure and administer medication
*Monitor patients progress and report changes


Requirements:


  • RPNs must be in good standing with CNO
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 12 months
  • TB test within the last 3 years
  • Proof of 2nd dose of Covid19 vaccination
*Proof of Booster shot

  • Must be familiar with online charting (eg. MEDITECH, eMAR, Point-ClickCare)
  • N95 Mask Fit
  • Must be energetic and compassionate
  • Should be able to work in a fastpaced, busy environment
  • Should be comfortable working solely and/or in a team environment

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
$38.00-$46.89 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • LPN/RPN (preferred)
  • Nursing (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
