We are seeking a
Mechanical/Electrical Estimating Student for our
Toronto District in Oakville, Ontario within our
Canadian Buildings Division that is available
for
a minimum of 4 months starting in Janurary 2024.

Here's how a
Mechanical/Electrical Estimating Student at our Toronto office contributes to the team:

Responsibilities:

Understand and utilize PCL's estimating manuals, systems and forms.
Review quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator.
Gets the chance to perform assigned quantity survey and transfer quantities to the lead estimator.
Provides quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing.
Creates an impact by performing general subtrade solicitation duties and helping with bid document control.
Has the opportunity to perform bid day assignments.
Experiences visiting the job sites periodically.
Develops relationships with subcontractors.
Performs other duties as required.
