Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Security Guard in North York, Ontario.

Job Details:

Corporate Reception security guard.
Fulltime.

Flexible

Shifts
Mornings timings might differ by 30 mins 1 hr)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Use telecommunications (i.e. twoway radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
Issuing Visitor Badges and reception duties.
Strong Communication Skills.
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
Visitor Access Control.
Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
Monitor security cameras.
Operate security control room equipment.
Patrolling.
Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
CPR Level C Certified.
Must have a valid Ontario Driver's license and consistent access to a vehicle.
Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons & weekends.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Professional work ethics.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs.
Exceptional Customer Service.
