The Role
The Department of Education is seeking a Part-Time Sessional faculty member for the academic year. The qualified Education instructor will teach first year Education courses such as Introduction to Teaching. This role is from August 15, 2024 to April 30, 2025.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Northwestern Polytechnic courses and current educational technologies commonly found in classrooms (e.g., videoconferencing, D2L) are desired.
  • Highly qualified faculty, who seek to continuously improve instruction and meet the need of learners.
  • Willingness to work with and support the Teaching & Learning Centre.
  • Student Focused.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
