MURRAY AUTO GROUP is looking for a
RECEPTIONIST/ VEHICLE INVENTORY CLERK in
CHILLIWACK


As the Receptionist / Accounting Vehicle Inventory Clerk, your main function is to process all vehicle purchases and trade in's into our inventory for the dealership, keeping to the process and cross checking for accuracy, mindful of the Ownerships Policies, as well as the rules and regulations for the manufacturer, VSA, CRA and other government agencies.

As a team player, you strive to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership, maintaining a neutral position in all dealings with other departments.

There will be various other administrative and accounting functions assigned as familiarity with the position progresses until fully integrated into the position.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers / answer phones and direct to appropriate department
  • Monitor vehicle deliveries to ensure trades are arrived and the process is started to bring them into stock.
  • Ensure the tracking process for incoming inventory is followed and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Timely and accurate processing of incoming vehicles.
  • Review transactions for accuracy upon posting.
  • Book customer appointments for sales or service as necessary
  • Monitor and Release BDC activities, call customers
  • Maintain an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with your coworkers.

Qualifications

  • Accounting experience in the Automotive Industry is preferred.
  • Must be process oriented and able to report deviations from process standards as outlined.
  • Computer skills and understanding of technology (knowledge of MS Office a must)
  • Ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and stress management skills to complete daily tasks.
  • Excellent listening skills and follows direction well.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
  • Selfmotiving with excellent work ethic
  • Loves a fast pace environment.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
