Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive non-digital marketing and events strategy that aligns with Plush + Oak's overall business objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including trade shows, pop-up shops, salon takeovers, and company events, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities for Plush + Oak's founders at relevant industry events, conferences, and workshops.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, vendors, and collaborators to create mutually beneficial marketing opportunities and co-branded events.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all marketing channels, both online and offline.
- Track and analyze event performance, providing detailed post-event reports and recommendations for future improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Manage event-related marketing materials, including signage, promotional items, and collateral.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field, preferably within the salon furniture or related industries.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful events and non-digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the salon and beauty industry, with established relationships with industry partners and vendors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
Salary:
From $48,000.00 per year
