- Be able to understand blueprint readings and prepare layouts
- Understand industrial concrete forming, build concrete forms, and other structures
- Identify and rectify deficiencies
- Check work accuracy and make necessary adjustments
- Review blueprints for work planning
- Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
- Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling above-ground structures
- Report abnormalities or defects to supervisors or take appropriate actions
- Preference given to a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket or Registered Carpenter Apprentice
- Non-ticketed carpenters must prove relevant hours in industrial Carpentry
- Fall Protection knowledge is beneficial
- Ability to coach, mentor, and train apprentices
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- Understand and address safety compliance and regulatory issues

We are looking to fill positions for the 156th & Yellowhead project in Edmonton for Carpenter (all levels) roles!
This position is in Edmonton, AB and does not include camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.
Shift is 5 days on, 2 days off – with opportunities for overtime if necessary
