Description

Responsibilities:


  • Equipment operating with some laborer duties when required
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving some manual labour
  • Work with mínimal supervision
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Required experience in the operation of constructionrelated equipment
  • Ability to work regular work day with overtime when required
  • Open to training & learning safe operation of different equipment
  • Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to work sites
  • Attention to detail, able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends when required
  • Valid safety certifications are an asset but not essential

Additional Information:


  • This position is eligible for paid overtime
  • Travel outside of Edmonton not expected
  • Training will be provided for various activities
  • Excellent wages with benefit eligibility after 3 months
  • Opportunity for continuing benefits during the winter months (offseason)
  • Potential oncall work opportunities during the winter months for snow removal and street sweeping
