Neighbourly Pharmacy is in search of a Pharmacy Manager to join the team at Kamsack I.D.A in Kamsack Saskatchewan.
The pharmacy, known for its traditional retail style, is a bustling hub always stocked with customers. The focus here is on harm reduction, aiming to bridge the healthcare gap for the less fortunate. You will collaborate closely with local doctors and addiction facility staff, delving into opportunities for minor ailment prescribing and clinical services. Thanks to Methameasure automation, pharmacists have more time to dedicate to patient care.
Operating with a 1-1.5 pharmacist setup and 3 pharmacy assistants, including one aspiring to be a registered technician, teamwork is at the core of this location.

Position Details:
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Part-time/Full-time options available
- Working hours from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm
Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy
- Drive employee and customer engagement
- Lead in patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies
- Focus on clinical services and disease state management
- Initiate, document, and follow up on care plans
- Administer vaccines and monitor medication adherence
- Recommend OTC products and vitamins
- Supervise pharmacy student or provisional pharmacist
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred)
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and business growth mindset
- Leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments for enhanced patient care
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organized with keen attention to detail
- Independent and self-directed working approach
- Strong customer service ethos and professionalism
